consulates and embassy's

If you ever wondered, consulates are for people; and embassy's are for countries. Non Americans probably know that, but I'm not sure many North Americans do much traveling internationally. At least not here in the South. I'm not judging, I'm just stating truth as I've found it here. Anyway... I'm dealing with our Visa application, and emailing the consulate trying to get the most current rules and regulations... So much info on the expat forums and blogs is outdated, that I want to know in my knower that I have all our ducks in a row, so to speak.

We have to take a short overnight trip to Atlanta, but I'm not sure what needs to be done first, hence the email to the consulate. We may have to have documents authenticated in the state they were issued, yikes! That could be a hassle, but I'm trying to be flexible, and keep calm.

The other thing we're trying to accomplish, is remodeling the bathroom and updating the kitchen. We purchased the bathroom cabinets, just a few million pieces to put together and it will be ready for install, and we got the flooring. So at least everything we need is now in our possession, and papaBEAR can get started when he feels like it. And the kitchen, is paint on the cabinets, and new floor, not too extensive, but will make a big impact on potential renters.

Just a little update, it had been a while. Yard sale was a great success, and we sold one of our cars, that's a load off, and replenishing the pocket book. Stay tuned, more 'sizzle behind the scenes' to come.

Busy BUSY Busy!

Today is not a usual photoSHOOT day, but we didn't spend a lot of time in the studio yesterday, so we have to make up for it. We are trying to put videos in the queue, schedule their release in advance so that when we are traveling you don't miss a thing.

We have a trip planned to visit both sets of parents, and while we may have time to shoot while visiting, production would be problematic, so we are planning ahead. The other time we will be traveling is when we make the big move to a "warmer climate", and may have little internet access until we get settled. Not to mention the big computer will be in the shipping container- yikes! 24 days minimum ( up to 2 months) without the bulk of our belongings. It's a good thing all the clothes we need are bathing suits!

So I've been wearing more wigs, it's fun to change it up. As you know, I used to put funky color in my hair to add something different, but probably won't be doing that anymore, so more wigs are needed! I'm going to put some on the Amazon wish list so if you see one you'd like to see me in, buy it for me! ;) I LOVE presents!!
